Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious ABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) for an in-home case in Northbrook, IL. This position involves providing 1:1 behavioral support to a teenage client with autism. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and confident in working with aggressive behaviors. Full training on the client’s Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) will be provided by a supervising BCBA.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the client's home, following individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies with consistency, especially in response to aggression or safety concerns
- Accurately collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data
- Follow safety protocols as trained by the supervising BCBA
- Use positive reinforcement to support learning and behavioral goals
- Maintain professional communication with caregivers and clinical team
- Attend required training and team meetings
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification or in process of becoming certified
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Comfortable and confident managing aggressive or challenging behaviors
- Ability to move quickly and provide physical support as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to Northbrook, IL
