How Station Power Began
How Station Power Began
After years of building and maintaining power lines and substations for leading suppliers, John Barriger identified a rapid need to provide sustainable, efficient energy to Arizona’s growing population.
That discovery led John and his wife Dana Barriger to venture out and contribute their fair share to the broader community of commercial construction services in the utility industry.
That discovery led John and his wife Dana Barriger to venture out and contribute their fair share to the broader community of commercial construction services in the utility industry.
Station Power Construction began with underground work of trenching and conduit feeds to substations to the civil work of large substations for utility companies in Arizona.
Their goal is to provide a comprehensive service to all in house, an expanded list of public and private utilities, municipalities, and industrial companies in Arizona. Their employees are IBEW 769 experienced line workers and their apprentices are trained by Southwestern Line Constructors.
Station Power Construction operates with safety as the foundation and strives to upgrade and increase the capacity of substations and lines that carry power.
John, Dana, and their team of experienced line workers guide this small family-owned business with the philosophy: Do it safely, do it right, and production will follow.
