We are looking for someone who can be part of our team as a SALON SPECIALIST/HOST to keep the salon running smoothly and provide outstanding and warm customer service. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!"

Our Salon Specialist should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably welcome greeting and friendly experience for each of our client children and parents.

This would be an excellent job for a teacher or high schooler looking for after-school and/or weekend hours. This is less about working at a salon than it is creating a warm feeling for all who enter the salon.

Key Responsibilities

Greet every guest and child with a warm, enthusiastic welcome as they arrive.
Engage with children and parents throughout their visit, creating a friendly and positive experience.
Assist families through the Point of Sale system to manage appointments, and check customers in and out and collect payment
Introduce guests to the receptionist and help guide them through their visit.
Serve as the face of Sharkey’s by maintaining a cheerful, outgoing attitude and polished appearance at all times.
Ensure the salon feels inviting, clean, & full of great energy.
Assist with cleaning duties between customers

Experience

Outgoing, smiley, & friendly personality.
Excellent communication & people skills.
Confident interacting with children & parents.
