Position Overview
Stillwater Building Center is hiring a Front Counter Sales & Customer Service Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new products, and being part of a team. No prior building materials or sales experience is required—we provide on-the-job training.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers at the front counter and by phone
- Help customers find products and answer basic questions
- Process sales transactions, returns, and payments accurately
- Coordinate customer pickups and communicate with store staff
- Keep the front counter and sales floor clean and organized
- Follow company procedures for orders, payments, and customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and people skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift moderate weight items as needed
