We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Carry out painting tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Assist with commercial cleaning projects, ensuring adherence to Department of Health standards and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and performing deep cleaning as required.
- Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is required
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- The ability to pass a Department of Health background check
