Mi Casa Hospice is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our dedicated hospice team. As a PRN Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional end-of-life care to patients and families, providing both clinical expertise and emotional support when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home patient visits for assessments, admissions, and symptom management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, medications, and comfort measures
- Respond to urgent patient needs and provide on-call support as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospice regulations
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospice care
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid car insurance
- CPR card
- Strong communication and time management skills
- EMR proficiency (experience with Axxess is a plus)
