Job Summary:
The Gym Director oversees the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families.

Responsibilities: 
  • Work Schedule: Commit to 35-40 hours per week, including weekends as needed
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations of the center, including class schedules, staff supervision, and facility maintenance
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement
  • Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently-enrolled families
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
Qualifications: 
  • Childcare Experience: Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and guests
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Endurance: Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities
