Responsibilities:
- Perform engine oil and oil filter changes
- Inspect and top off automotive fluids
- Replace air/cabin filters and windshield wipers
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor
- Maintain the store organization and cleanliness
- Provide service inspections on all vehicles
- Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation
- Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- Proven work experience as a Tire Technician, Lube Technician or similar role
- Some professional experience removing and installing tires preferred
- Team player to work with other team members
- Attention to detail to install tires properly and provide oil changes
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- MI state certifications required
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
