Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) a elementary school. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients using standardized speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians, teachers, family members, and other professionals to support patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and swallowing.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or CFY candidates may be considered).
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills..
Compensation: $52.00 per hour
