We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and qualified Cook to join our team! Interested applicants should apply with a resume.

Job responsibilities

Prepares and serves entire campus snacks and lunches on time.
Stocks and organizes all food items, incorporating a stock rotation system.
Implements a regular cleaning schedule to include all other components (shelves, walls, drawers, storage areas) on a regular rotational basis in order to maintain highest sanitation standards.
Maintains an awareness of and abides by all dietary restrictions and allergies of enrolled children.
Stocks kitchen with foods in sufficient quantity to serve the posted menu.
Serves as a school liaison and quality control point and participates in the orientation of new school personnel.
Assists with completion of Brand Standard, Regulatory, and Accreditation paperwork, as requested.

Position is primarily Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:00 pm with an occasional evening meeting. Hours may vary based on needs of the school.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Two-year minimum of food service cooking experience.
CPR and 1st aid certified or will obtain certification upon hire.
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic - must be a team player!

CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and teachers.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a positive attitude and work ethic – must be a team player!
Must be able to have a flexible schedule between the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm
Must be willing to undergo a background check and pass a drug screening

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
