Pure Joy Pediatrics - Our Culture
At Pure Joy Pediatrics, we believe that excellent medicine can be delivered in an environment that feels more like home than a hospital. Our cozy, spa-like space is designed to help families exhale the moment they walk in - from the little ladybug ride-on toys that lead patients to their rooms, to the calming presence of our therapy dog, Maja, who greets each child with gentle affection.
We live by our core values of transparency, innovation, growth mindset, and restoring joy in the lives of the families we serve. Our care philosophy is deeply personal - we take the time to know our patients, many of whom we’ve cared for since birth, and we work intentionally to minimize trauma around medical procedures.
As a team, we collaborate closely, celebrate each other’s wins, and approach challenges with curiosity, data driven, knowing there’s often more than one way to solve a problem. We value efficiency and resourcefulness, recognizing that every tool, every minute, and every idea can be optimized to help us grow the services we offer.
Pure Joy Pediatrics is more than a medical practice - it’s a mission. We proudly participate in community initiatives like the annual fundraiser for congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) research, and we see every patient interaction as an opportunity to spread compassion, trust, and joy.

About Us
Why Pure Joy Pediatrics?
After 16 years of clinical practice, I realize how important it is to preserve the physician/patient relationship. I believe in building practice and system that would bolster rather than detract from this special experience. Supporting parents in their journey of parenthood is at the heart of what we love to do at Pure Joy Pediatrics. This process has been exhilarating and life affirming. The kudos and reviews from families has really propelled the project forward by leaps and bounds.
Patient care is a must but it is only a part of what we do. Encouraging and supporting parents as they develop their own parenting style and garner confidence is at the heart of what Pure Joy Pediatrics offers parents. When parents feel empowered in their roles as advocates, caretakers and nurturers of their children, the children naturally benefit. Better yet, they thrive. That ultimately is our goal.
Pure Joy Pediatrics was conceptualized as a place where parents and patients are at ease throughout their experience. Making appointments easily through online scheduling, communication with the provider, accessing care, medical records and navigating the patient experience should be void of the normal hassles and stress that seem commonplace these days. The name itself was chosen as a vision for what the patient encounter should be for patients, families and the provider. One of our goals at Pure Joy is to restore joy in every patient encounter for everyone involved.
Pure Joy Pediatrics is a family-forward company. This means family come first. Some families are small and some are large but our mission is to promote the wellness of the entire family by supporting this in our community of patients. Of course, the mission of Pure Joy is to promote health and wellness of children and their families and we want the same for our providers and staff. The notion is to promote happy and healthy lives for everyone involved in the patient experience. We all have one opportunity at this lifetime, so let’s make the most of it.
