Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports social and emotional development.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and engaging.
- Lead fun and educational activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional growth.
- Stay current with early childhood education best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
Preferred Requirements:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and parents.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers.
