Core Services Group is seeking a Mid-Level Future Surface Force Tactics Support member to support the development of future surface force tactics and strategic planning initiatives for naval operations. Provide expert consultation on surface warfare training, combat systems, and fleet operations within the Optimized Fleet Response Plan framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic policies, memorandums, and long-range planning objectives for surface force tactics
• Support Surface Community training entities within Naval Optimized Fleet Response Plan operations
• Provide expertise on combat systems components and operational instructions
• Analyze Command and Control issues for surveillance, engagement, and planning functions across numbered fleets
• Collaborate on staff and fleet operations planning procedures
• Create tactical assessments and recommendations for future surface force capabilities
• Support training development and implementation for surface warfare operations
Required Qualifications:
• Current SECRET Security Clearance
• One of the following experience paths:
- 10+ years as a Qualified Surface Warfare Officer
- 10+ years Naval Aviator with Surface Warfare/Staff Experience
- Marine Corps Officer with Naval Surface Staff Experience and proven knowledge of Optimized Fleet Response Plan and Naval Surface Training
- Non-Commissioned Officer (Chief Petty Officer or above) with 15+ years of experience and proven knowledge of Optimized Fleet Response Plan and Naval Surface Training
• 5+ years of experience in strategic writing, including policies, memorandums, and long-range planning objectives
• 3+ years of experience in Surface Community or with training entities inside the Naval Optimized Fleet Response Plan
• 5+ years of experience with Combat Systems, components, and instructions
• 5+ years of experience with Command and Control issues regarding surveillance, engagement, and planning functions for numbered fleets
• Experience with Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures.
