Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Soccer Coach to join our team. You will be free to bring your charismatic personality to class. In fact, the kids want you to.

You will be given the tools to access pre-written lesson plans and videos for you to follow so you can focus on what is most important - the joy of developing children's social skills and teaching children the fundamentals of soccer, all while having fun.

You will lead class in a structured environment by facilitating activities in a recreational setting with children from as young as 1 and as old as 15 years.

If you genuinely love being around children and feel confident in your ability to teach games and skills in a fun and energetic manner, then this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities

Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.
Manage behavior effectively to create a respectful and focused atmosphere.
Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance.
Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages.
Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
Ensure the safety of all participants during classes.
Show up on time and prepared for each class (physically and mentally)

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in soccer, is great but not required.
Experience working with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is great but not required.

Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal

Expected hours: 5 - 7 hours per week

Schedule: Choose your own hours

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Our coaches create a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment to ensure children develop self-confidence and physical literacy in every class.

This is a seasonal part-time position offering 5 to 7 hours per week (1.5 hours per day for 4 days). Does this meet your needs?*

This is a 9-week after-school seasonal position with sessions Monday - Thursday during the weeks of 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/20, 10/27, 11/10 and 11/17. Please check your schedule and attest that you have no after-school conflicts in your schedule during those weeks*

There is one week during the season where kids are on break from soccer classes - week of 10/13. I am comfortable with no shifts during these breaks when kids are not in school*

Spanish fluency is not required but is a plus. Are you fluent in Spanish?*
