Job Summary

Jones Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc is looking for a Delivery Driver w/ CDL A with Hazmat Endorsements to join our team! As a Route Driver, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering cylinders and welding goods to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

1 Year of route driving experience requested
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
Follow route and schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission

Qualifications

Must have a valid commercial driver’s license and clean driving record
Must have Hazmat endorsement
Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles,
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to work independently
Must have excellent time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
