Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
📍 Location: Washington, DC
💵 Pay Rate: $52–$58/hr.
🕒 Schedule: 3x12s, Night Shift
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to infants, children, and young adults experiencing urgent medical needs in an acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in alignment with our mission of patient-centered service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients in acute and emergency settings.
- Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Provide patient and family education while offering emotional support during high-stress situations.
- Uphold safety standards, infection control measures, and hospital policies.
- Serve as a role model and resource to peers, demonstrating leadership and professionalism.
Requirements
✅ Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – required
- Current RN license in DC – required
✅ Certifications

TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS – all required
✅ Experience
- Recent pediatric acute care experience – required
- Minimum 1 year full-time OR 3 years part-time experience in an acute care setting – preferred
- Proven ability to sustain employment for at least 2 years
