Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Screen Printer / Press Assistant with hands-on experience in the screen printing industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their craft, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a production environment. This role involves setting up and operating screen printing equipment, ensuring the highest print quality, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
We are seeking a skilled Screen Printer / Press Assistant with hands-on experience in the screen printing industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their craft, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a production environment. This role involves setting up and operating screen printing equipment, ensuring the highest print quality, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual and/or automatic screen printing presses.
- Prepare screens, mix inks, and load apparel and promotional products for printing.
- Inspect printed items for quality, making adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot printing issues and perform basic press maintenance.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in screen printing required.
- Familiarity with various substrates (e.g., apparel, bags, promotional items).
- Strong understanding of screen preparation, registration, and ink mixing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automatic presses.
- Knowledge of plastisol and water-based inks.
- Familiarity with pre-press and reclaim processes.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
