We’re seeking a General Manager who will execute the owner’s vision, lead with heart, and keep our systems and culture thriving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations with a focus on consistency, quality, and guest experience.
- Model and uphold Satchmo’s culture: hospitality, integrity, teamwork, and accountability.
- Mentor, hire, and develop team members with growth and purpose in mind.
- Use and refine systems for scheduling, inventory, and ordering.
- Ensure every guest feels cared for—whether in the restaurant, catering, or events.
- Drive community engagement and uphold sustainability commitments.
- Model and uphold Satchmo’s culture: hospitality, integrity, teamwork, and accountability.

Ideal Candidate
- 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience.
- Strong leadership and emotional intelligence.
- Operationally savvy (POS, inventory, scheduling).
- Culture-driven: humble, collaborative, proactive.
- Bonus: Cajun/BBQ or catering experience.

Established in January of 2009, Satchmo's began in a 250 square foot drive through building with only 2 employees. Nowadays Satchmo's is comprised of a group of individuals that are simply referred to as "The Fam." A family that's as diverse as Flagstaff is as a community.Gatherings of family, friends, and community around great food is an ideal that began long before we opened our doors. And we base every day on those ideals.
