Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our Firm. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex financial processes while maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of accounting functions.
Ensure compliance in all financial reporting.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.
Manage risk analysis processes to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and stakeholders as necessary.
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Lead the finance team in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate any audit activities.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as relevant accounting standards (like GAAP).
Developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Responsible for A/R, A/P, and all financial related metrics and tracking.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in accounting and financial analysis.
Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles within finance departments.
Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and financial software applications.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment and management.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
