Average # of patients/day: Can be anywhere from 2-22
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Wound Care cert preferred
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Wounds - pressure injuries
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Some experience preferred
Job Duties: Patient wound care - skin checks - ostomy teaching, wound staging, wound vacs.
EMR: Cerner
Shifts & Scheduling: Monday to Saturday - 630-1700
Weekend Requirement: Saturdays EOW
Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor
Is there a call or standby requirement- No
Floating Requirements Yes - float within scope and/or to Mercy Southwest(6 miles apart)
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs
How many shifts for orientation- 2 days
Do you use Medical Assistants or CNA's- Yes
Compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
