Registered Veterinary Technician

Education/Experience/Certifications
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (RVT, CVT, LVT)
- Veterinary Technician Specialist ( VTS) (optional)
- AAS in Veterinary technology or Veterinary Nursing
Personal Requirements
- Enjoys working with people and can stay calm in stressful situations
- Enjoys working with animals and can safely handle them when they are stressed, ill, and injured
- Is well spoken, and approaches job duties in a professional manner
- Is experienced in team settings, willing to lead and give direction to others, but follow when needed.
- Works well with all team members
- Time Management and willing to work independently
- Compassionate and Empathy for our clients and other team member
Job Requirements (included but not limited to)
- Support Veterinarians to ensure quality, compassionate care to our patient and their owners
- Support in all aspects of the hospital including Front desk, Exam and Treatment rooms, Surgery, Dentistry, and Radiology
- Client Communication and Education
- Animal Handling and Restraint
- Surgery and Dental Preparation and Assistance
- Digital Radiology, Digital Dental Radiology, and Ultrasound
- Vaccination Protocols based on lifestyle

- $30.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience
- $1,000 sign on bonus split between 2 installments at 90 days and 1 year of service

We have 4 Veterinarians, 2 Registered Veterinary Technicians, 6 Veterinary Assistants, and 4 Client Care Team members, who are here to serve you and your pet. Our services include Wellness and Preventative Care, Dentistry, Surgery, Medicine, monitoring of Chronic Conditions, general Dermatology, Nutrition, general Behavior Care. We provide care through extensive diagnostics including but not limited to radiology, ultrasonography, labwork and personalized treatment plans for each pet.
