Job Summary
We are seeking a highly trained Armed Security Officer to protect a high-profile retail site in Seattle. In this role, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, customers, and assets by maintaining a strong visible presence, responding to incidents, and preventing theft or disruptions. The ideal candidate brings proven security or law enforcement experience, excellent judgment under pressure, and a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
- Remove trespassers when necessary
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs, incident reports, and security documentation.
- Respond to reports of suspicious activity
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents
Qualifications
- Previous armed security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Washington State Armed Security License (DPSST/WA DOL).
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and firearms qualification.
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability.
Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
