Job Title: Working Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Coldbrook, NS (Sorry - we are not interviewing candidates from out-of-province at this time.)
Hours: Full-time, with some evening and occasional weekend work required

About the Role: We are looking for a Working Cleaning Supervisor to lead by example and work alongside our cleaning team. This role involves both supervising staff and carrying out cleaning duties, including more specialised tasks such as stripping and waxing floors. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and ensure the job gets done to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the cleaning team on a daily basis, including tasks such as floor care, stripping, and waxing.
- Supervise, train, and support staff to maintain excellent cleaning standards.
- Carry out regular inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Allocate daily tasks and assist with staff scheduling.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
- Step in to cover shifts if required.
Requirements:
- Hands-on cleaning experience, including floor care (stripping and waxing).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Willingness to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to lead by example.
