About Our Agency:

Since opening my agency in 2021, I’ve built a small but dedicated team of three and created an environment that blends support, independence, and growth. My journey into the insurance world was a unique one — I was recruited by State Farm without any prior background in the industry. I embraced the challenge, bringing with me experience as a sales performance manager in the auto field, a background in the medical industry, and even an education in art. Entrepreneurship runs in my blood, as both sides of my family are small business owners, which gives me a deep appreciation for hard work and ambition.

Community involvement and connection are important to us. We enjoy participating in local events like outdoor movies and concerts in the park, and we make it a priority to host monthly team-bonding activities. Every other month, we dedicate a full day to social media and outreach to further engage with our community and expand our impact.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Are you a detail-oriented professional who knows how to get things done efficiently and accurately? As the Customer Service Manager with Sierra Juhl's State Farm office, you’ll be an integral part in ensuring our agency runs smoothly and our customers receive the support they deserve. You’ll handle everything from answering insurance questions to processing policy changes — all with precision, efficiency, and a customer-first mindset. A crucial part of your role will be assessing clients’ current coverage, identifying any gaps, and recommending additional insurance solutions to ensure they have comprehensive protection.

While this role is primarily focused on customer service, we’d love someone who can also jump in and assist with sales efforts when needed. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide fast, accurate, and friendly customer service — including handling insurance inquiries, policy updates, claims, and billing questions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent, thoughtful follow-up.
  • Use a needs-based approach to educate customers on insurance options that fit their needs.
  • Assist with sales activities as needed to support agency growth.
  • Keep office operations organized and efficient to support excellent customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflows and help the agency meet its goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Maintain Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses (training and support provided).
WHO YOU ARE:

  • Detail-obsessed, organized, and committed to following through to get results.
  • Have 3+ years of customer service experience and 1+ year of insurance industry experience.
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator — written, verbal, and a great listener.
  • Proactive problem solver who stays calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
  • Tech-savvy with Windows applications and open to learning agency software.
  • Motivated to earn required insurance licenses — we provide paid training.

Compensation: $49,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
