The Opportunity
We’re seeking a results-driven, self-motivated Controller to own the accounting function for multiple GovCon clients. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and delivering outcomes that make clients stronger.

What You’ll Do

Own the full accounting cycle for multiple clients — from daily transactions to strategic reporting.
- Lead month-end/year-end closes, prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, DCAA audit readiness, and accurate indirect rate calculations.
- Advise on revenue recognition, cost allocations, and contract profitability.
- Identify and implement process improvements — including financial system upgrades.
- Act as the primary client contact for all accounting matters, proactively addressing issues and providing actionable insights.
- Coordinate with tax advisors, legal counsel, and client leadership on filings, planning, and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred).

5+ years in GovCon accounting with proven success leading accounting operations.
- Demonstrated experience owning outcomes, driving change, and leading system implementations or process improvements.
- High proficiency with Excel and GovCon systems (PROCAS, Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, JAMIS, QBO, ICAT. eFAACT).
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain financials to non-financial leaders.

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
