Job Type: Full-time (minimum 35 clients per week) | Part-time (minimum 15 clients per week)
Required Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in the State of Illinois
- Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Credential or actively in the process of obtaining (we can assist)
- Experience working with infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old)
- Understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy services to children (birth to age 3) in natural settings such as the home or daycare
- Implement treatment plans and protocols developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Meet with supervising Physical Therapist monthly to discuss progress and coordination of care
- Follow each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), tracking and documenting developmental progress
- Provide family home education programs to empower parents and caregivers in supporting promoting developmental skills at home
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations

Compensation: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Our therapist focus primarily on helping children learn how to stay engaged, to play with peers appropriately, develop their social-emotional capacities, improve their communication skills and also incorporate School-transitions skills into the therapy sessions. Services are developed with the family to ensure success in child's natural environment. We strongly encourage our families to participate therefore they can implement what was achieved in the session and apply it to their daily lives as a result their child may continue to excel.
