Job Description – Licensed Addiction Counselor / Mental Health Therapist
We are hiring a licensed counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC or related credential) to join our treatment team. In this role, you will manage a client caseload averaging 12, providing evidence-based care for individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intakes, assessments, and evaluations for clients entering treatment.

  • Develop and implement biopsychosocial treatment plans tailored to client needs.

  • Facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling sessions.

  • Provide substance use disorder counseling, relapse prevention, and recovery support services.

  • Coordinate treatment planning, referrals, and discharge planning with outside providers.

  • Collaborate with medical staff, psychiatric care providers, and case managers to ensure integrated services.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Participate in staff trainings, community outreach events, and cultural competency initiatives.

  • Represent WisHope at professional meetings, trainings, and community events.

  • Deliver compassionate, client-centered care in line with best practices for addiction counseling and mental health treatment.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
