Family Practice Medical Assistant
📍 Phoenix, AZ | 🕒 Full-Time

We’re a friendly, patient-centered family practice looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to bring compassion, skill, and positive energy to our team and help us provide exceptional care to patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with great benefits, and a team that feels like family. Cross streets 101 and Tatum/Desert Ridge

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients, take and record vital signs, and update patient records in the EMR.
Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
Administer immunizations and medications as directed.
Perform EKGs and ear lavage.
Perform in-office blood draws and point of care testing (strep, flu, glucose, UA etc.)
Educate patients about medications, follow-up care, and healthy living.
Help keep the practice running smoothly by answering patient calls, and processing medication refills.
Collaborate with a supportive, close-knit team.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certification as CMA, RMA, or equivalent preferred.
CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in Family Practice, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine is preferred.
A warm, positive attitude and commitment to patient care.
Team player who can multitask in a busy environment.
Experience with Athena EMR is a plus
