- Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Assign daily work activities and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication throughout the restoration process.
- Perform and oversee water, fire, mold, storm, and specialty cleaning services.
- Monitor project quality and ensure all work meets SERVPRO standards.
- Identify jobsite hazards and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Create and maintain detailed, accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, moisture readings, and equipment records.
- Manage labor hours, equipment usage, and consumable materials to maximize efficiency.
- Train, coach, and mentor Restoration Technicians to support their professional growth.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and scheduling needs with the Restoration Manager and office staff.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Assist with warehouse organization, facility maintenance, and inventory management.
- Participate in on-call emergency response rotations as needed.
- Continue developing technical knowledge through ongoing training and industry certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in restoration, construction, cleaning, or a related field
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- IICRC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods
- Work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
- Safely operate company vehicles and restoration equipment
- Perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and reaching
- Work around water, mold, smoke, debris, cleaning chemicals, and other environmental conditions
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when required
- Work in varying temperatures, humidity levels, and occasionally noisy environments
