Life & Health Insurance Advisor – Full-Time, Year-Round (Bloomfield Hills, MI)

About the Role
We’re looking for licensed Life & Health Insurance Advisors to join our team in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This is a full-time, W-2 position that offers year-round stability, steady leads, and strong earning potential. You’ll start in person at our Bloomfield Hills office as we establish the agency, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid/remote schedule once operations are running smoothly. What You’ll Do
In this role, your focus will be on supporting clients and making the insurance process simple and clear. A typical day might include:

  • Talking with individuals and families about their life and health insurance options.
  • Explaining plan benefits, costs, and next steps in a way that’s easy to understand.
  • Guiding clients through applications and making sure everything moves smoothly.
  • Keeping client information accurate and up to date in the CRM.
  • Working alongside a supportive team that values collaboration and client care.
What We’re Looking For
We want to work with people who bring both experience and a client-first approach. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • An active Michigan Life & Health Insurance License (additional state licenses strongly preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance advising, sales, or client service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain coverage clearly.
  • Comfort with CRM tools and web-based systems.
  • Willingness to work in person during the initial training and launch phase (Bloomfield Hills office).
Compensation & Benefits
  • $22/hour plus commission opportunities.
  • First-year earnings typically exceed $50,000; high performers may earn more.
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
