LeafSpring School at Wyndham, located in the Glen Allen area of Richmond, is seeking a qualified Preschool Curriculum Coordinator to join our team!
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for participating in the initial training and ongoing curriculum education and support of all teaching staff in assigned program.
Evaluates Lesson Plans of all nursery and preschool classrooms and provides guidance as needed.
Completes required observations on every nursery and preschool classroom in which the results are used to guide curriculum consultations as needed.
Presents monthly curriculum focus/report at lead teacher and/or staff meetings as requested.
Administers to the continuing education needs of all LeafSpring staff.
CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and staff. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or other child related field or Child Development Associate (CDA) required.
At least 2 years’ experience teaching in a group setting at a licensed childcare facility
First aid, CPR and MAT training (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire)
Must be able to work between the hours of 6:45 am and 6:15 pm.
