Job Summary
We are seeking a maticulous and reliable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating specialized coating equipment, as well as preparing, cleaning, loading delicate optical components into machines. You will ensure the machinery operates continuously and efficiently in order to maintain high productivity levels. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with precision processes in a clean environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor vacuum caoting machines (training provided).
- Carefully clean, handle, and load optical parts into fixtures.
- Inspect components for quality before and after processing.
- Follow procedures and maintain accurate production records.
- Perform routine equipment checks and support maintenance activities.
- Work collabratively with the production team to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operator, or technical feild is preferred (will train the right canidate)
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and production procedures is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Comfortable handling delicate parts and working in a clean environment
- Dependable, organized, and commited to quality.
Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
ABOUT US
Vacuum Innovations was founded by President Dr. James Oliver in 2007. Dr. Oliver operated the company solely until 2017. At Vacuum Innovations, we design and manufacture a line of precision components and offer full-custom coating systems. We have been growing and expanding our operations and capabilities offered to better provide for our expanding customer base. In 2019 the company relocated to a 15,000 square foot facility in Dansville, NY. This new facility offers more office space and a large attached machine shop that allows for an open and organized layout for the manufacturing and operational side of the company. Our Dansville facility houses our mechanical and electrical engineers, IT, sales and marketing, and operations along with the machine shop.
