We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately documenting patient visits in the electronic medical record, including taking detailed notes of the patient's history, physical exam, and other pertinent information. The Medical Scribe will also assist the physician with ordering tests and procedures, as well as communicating with other members of the healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for healthcare to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

General Accountabilities
  • Submit scheduling documentation to designated surgical centers.
  • Verify insurance coverage and confirm prior authorization requirements.
  • Ensure anticoagulation management and obtain medical clearance when clinically indicated
  • Contact patients approximately one week prior to their procedure to provide preoperative and sedation instructions.
  • Notify vendor representatives of upcoming procedures to ensure appropriate support and coordination.
  • Confirm availability of required medications (e.g., Botox, intrathecal pump medications) in advance.
  • Conduct postoperative follow-up calls within 24–48 hours to assess patient status and address any concerns.
  • Strategically organize route schedules to maximize service efficiency and timeliness.

Job Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least one year of job-related experience
