Full-Time Support Staff – Day Shifts with Flexible Hours (40 hrs/week)

Are you a caring, professional, and energetic individual looking to make a meaningful impact? We are hiring Direct Support Staff to support a bright and engaging 21-year-old man in his home and community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll work 1:1 or 2:1 depending on the day, helping him stay active, connected, and safe. He enjoys outings and being engaged with his surroundings, and needs full personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full personal care, including bathing, feeding tube, and transfers
- Assist with mobility (nonverbal, needs assistance with transfers)
- Help with daily tasks: light housekeeping, hydration, meal prep
- Stay attentive, engaged, and professional during all shifts (no personal phone use)
- Use an iPad and basic sign language to support communication and learning
- Go out in the community with the client and another staff person
Ideal Candidate:
- Positive, calm, and dependable
- Enjoys being active and on the go
- Creative, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Comfortable with hands-on care and technology
- Can follow care plans and work independently
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (flexible hours 8 or 9 am to 4 or 5 pm)
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- Physically able to assist with mobility
- Able to pass background check
- CNA a plus, but not required – we provide full training
