First Day Homecare® is a leading homecare provider with locations across the U.S., specializing in pediatric Private Duty Nursing, infusion therapy, and other home and community-based services. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurses to support our growing infusion program. Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
- Per diem - will vary based on client assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Assume accountability for professional nursing practice, following the state Nurse Practice Act and home health standards.
- Conduct physical assessments, including client admissions and reassessments, as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Report changes in the client condition to the medical practitioner and care team promptly.
- Contribute to the development and adjustment of client care plans.
- Demonstrate technical nursing competency, especially in administering infusions, injectables, and IV access.
- Practice nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual differences, adhering to Agency policies.
- Promote safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement in client care.
- Maintain confidentiality and engage in ongoing professional development.
About You:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice.
- Proficient in various infusion and injectable medications, including peripheral intravenous (IV) starts and accessing infusion ports.
- Willingness to travel to patients' homes within a large geographic region
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
