Job description:
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
-EMPOWER INDEPENDENCE-BUILD SKILLS-CHANGE LIVES
Location: Split between our Lutz and Wesley Chapel clinics (15-minute drive between locations, mileage reimbursed!)
Position Type: Full-Time, W-2
Setting: Clinic-Based Only
At AchieveAbility Therapy, we believe every child deserves to thrive - and a team that believes in their potential. As an OTR/L on our interdisciplinary team, you'll provide client-centered, goal-driven occupational therapy in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced therapist, you'll find mentorship, encouragement, and a work culture that values growth - for our clients and our staff.
What You'll Do:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for children with autism and developmental differences
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care/ADLs, play skills, and functional participation.
- Collaborate daily with families, teachers, BCBAs, SLPs, and RBTs to support skills generalization across clinic and classroom settings.
- Document sessions efficiently using an intuitive EMR platform with support available when needed.
- Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with your clinical director, interdisciplinary team meetings, staff trainings, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Rotate between our Lutz and Wesley Chapel clinics - no driving to schools, daycares, or homes.
Why You'll Love This Role:
- Competitive pay - $39-45/hour, W-2, based on experience.
- Reasonable billable expectations.
- Stable, manageable caseloads - most clients attend on-site school in Lutz or ABA, reducing cancellations and maximizing consistency.
- Minimal paperwork burden - user-friendly EMR and admin support allow you to focus on therapy, not documentation
- Behavioral support - most clients have an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) travel with them to therapy, allowing you to focus on therapy, not behaviors.
- Minimal travel - work only at our two clinic sites, with mileage reimbursed between locations
- Work-life balance - predictable Monday to Friday schedule, no nights, no weekends, opportunities for flexible scheduling.
- Collaborative team culture - work closely with SLP, BCBAs, teachers, and RBTs who share the same mission
- Fully stocked with therapy materials - ready for creative, engaging sessions
- Supportive work environment - open-door leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly pay range of up to $45/hour, W-2, based on experience
- $1,000 annual continuing education allowance, paid onboarding/training week.
- Consistent full-time schedule with clinic-based stability.
- Paid-time off, health/dental/vision, 401(k), employee discounts
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between sites
- Opportunities to lead projects, innovate new programs, and be heard by leadership
- A supportive, values-driven environment focused on making a difference
Growth Pathway:
At AchieveAbility Therapy, we believe in growing our team members as much as we grow our clients' skills. As you gain experience, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Mentor new graduates and Level II fieldwork students
- Develop specialty programs (feeding, handwriting, sensory groups, etc.)
- Lead interdisciplinary team trainings on OT best practices.
- Help shape the future of our clinic through feedback and innovation.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour

We believe in the synergy between in-therapy training and parent training.
Our trained professionals will work with a child on an ongoing basis to achieve independence, but for best results we partner with parents and guardians to create a holistic approach to the child’s therapy plan.
