About the Role:
Join Ace Appliance as a Major Appliance Delivery Driver and be the face of our company while delivering top-notch service to our customers in Toledo, OH. This role is perfect for those who enjoy driving, interacting with customers, and ensuring that high-quality appliances reach their new homes safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport major appliances to customers' homes.
- Unload, install, and demonstrate appliances while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and appliance features.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management.
- Assist in warehouse duties, including inventory management and appliance staging.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery-related concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience driving larger vehicles.
- Strong physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy appliances.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in delivery or logistics is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of appliance installation and operation is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
