Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our client base and promote our safety services within the construction and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of generating new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within targeted markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the firm’s client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, engineering firms, and project owners.
  • Present the company’s services and value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to increase visibility.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with project managers and marketing to coordinate outreach and support proposals.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3+ years of business development/sales experience in the construction, safety, or related industry.
  • Proven success in generating leads, managing client relationships, and closing deals.
  • Strong network of contacts within the construction and industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to outreach and relationship-building.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
