Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination or other commercial vehicles.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Ensure load is properly secured and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using ELD (Electronic Logging Devices).
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.
- Report any mechanical issues or delays in transit to the appropriate personnel.
- Loading and unloading if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- Minimum [1-3] years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
