Job Summary:
Genesis Health Clubs is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and guests at our Tri-State location in Evansville, Indiana. This is a vital role that supports the daily operations of the club and enhances the overall member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and high-traffic areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility
- Restock supplies such as towels, soap, toilet paper, and cleaning materials
- Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness of all disposal areas
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the manager on duty
- Interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards set by Genesis Health Clubs
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean facility
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Must be available to work evening shifts and weekends
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Comfortable handling cleaning products and basic janitorial equipment
