At FirstLight® Home Care, we're seeking caring professionals listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (in good standing) to provide private duty, in-home care to our clients.

HOURS 5AM - 7PM - Time and a half for any hours over 40.

This isn't facility work—it's one-on-one care in the comfort of the client's home. You'll make a real difference every day by bringing comfort, companionship, and skilled assistance to those who depend on you.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance)
  • Offering companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being
  • Preparing and serving meals according to client needs and preferences
  • Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home environment
  • Assisting with errands, transportation, and daily activities
  • Following detailed care plans and communicating updates to the care team
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure each client receives exceptional care


Qualifications:
  • Current listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, in good standing (required)
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish Speaking)
  • Experience in private duty or in-home care (preferred)
  • A passion for caregiving and a genuine desire to help others
  • Empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality care
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
