Job Summary:
A Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
- Perform heating/cooling load calculations.
- Design HVAC systems, including hydronic and air-side systems.
- Create control diagrams and prepare sequences of operations.
- Develop heat load analysis models and flow models.
- Oversee all phases of HVAC projects from concept to implementation.
- Prepare and review technical design criteria and specifications.

System Analysis and Testing:
- Conduct tests on HVAC systems.
- Analyze and test prototypes and revisions of HVAC systems.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance using specialized software.

Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and standards such as the International Building Code.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements or repairs.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software and HVAC design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience in designing HVAC systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
