Salary & Benefits: 
Lead Teacher Salary Scale: $39,000 to $44,000 Annually

The Learning Experience offers Paid Vacation Time and Paid Holidays/Breaks:
Paid Time Off: Up to 80 hours (Higher for Tenured Employees of 3 years or more).
Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After, Christmas Day, Day After Christmas 
Early Closures: (2) New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve
Professional Development Days (Closed to Students): (2) President's Day & Columbus Day

Assistant Directors at The Learning Experience play a crucial role in influencing the growth and development of both children and teachers. They create an environment of collaboration and community, encouraging everyone to thrive.
 
Role Responsibilities: 
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
  • Assists the CD in creating a positive CULTURE for teachers, parents, and little learners 
  • Manages team to ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards;
  • Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the future
  • Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action
  • Builds and communicates weekly schedules
  • Daily management of classroom ratios
  • Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget. 
CUSTOMER FOCUS
  • Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
  • Parent Engagement 
  • Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
  • Executes “parent pleasers.”
  • Execution of our Bubbles and Friends Parent App
  • Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students 
  • Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
  • Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
  • Responsible for accident/incident reporting
  • Medication management
  • Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
 
Qualifications:
  • Must meet educational requirements for the director of a large franchised center in the state of Florida 
  • Two or more years of center leadership/management experience is highly preferred. At least one year or more of customer service experience preferred
  • Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
  • CDA/AA or higher degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
  • VPK Endorsed
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines
