Position Summary

The IT Manager will lead the development and operations of Designlibro’s U.S. office IT systems and play a key role in global ERP deployment and integration. This role is hands-on and strategically — responsible for building scalable IT infrastructure, ensuring best-in-class security and performance, and supporting engineering, operations, and finance functions. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise systems experience, has built systems from 0→1, and can partner closely with global teams, especially the Shenzhen tech and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

ERP-Related Responsibilities

  • ERP Strategy & Roadmap: Develop ERP system plans that support business growth and global scalability.
  • System Selection & Deployment: Lead ERP evaluation and implementation (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and ensure integrations with Shopify, CRM, finance systems, and supply-chain tools.
  • Process Optimization: Improve workflows across order management, inventory, finance, and operations to drive automation and efficiency.
  • Data Governance & Reporting: Ensure ERP data accuracy and reliability; support real-time business reporting and analytics.
  • Cross-Border Integration: Partner with Shenzhen logistics, finance, and operations to optimize end-to-end global visibility.
IT Infrastructure & Security

  • IT Systems Ownership: Oversee U.S. IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, cloud services (AWS / GCP), and on-prem systems.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement security frameworks and ensure compliance with U.S. and international data-protection standards.
  • Business Continuity: Establish disaster recovery, backup, and system-stability planning.
  • Tech Support: Provide responsive support to R&D, hardware/firmware teams, and business users.
Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a small but high-impact technical support and IT operations team as the business grows.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage ERP vendors, MSPs, SaaS providers, and IT procurement.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and global engineering teams to ensure IT systems enable business objectives.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
Experience

  • 5+ years of IT or ERP system experience; 2+ years leading teams or projects.
  • Experience building and scaling enterprise IT systems from 0→1.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, consumer electronics, or supply-chain driven environments strongly preferred.
  • Cloud environment experience (AWS / GCP) and understanding of security principles.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled systems, workflow automation, or data-platform design is a plus.
Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, SQL databases, cloud platforms, and security frameworks.
  • Understanding of enterprise network architecture, endpoint management, and data governance.
  • Experience building or managing hybrid-cloud or data-center environments preferred.
Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and supply-chain teams.
  • Excellent project-management skills; experience with Agile / iterative delivery models.
  • Effective communicator; bilingual English & Mandarin is preferred to support collaboration with China-based stakeholders.

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
