Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) or Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP) to lead and drive Insurance Analytics & AI initiatives for Property and Casualty (P\&C) clients. This leadership role focuses on client management, data-driven solutions, and strategic insights, ensuring clients receive cutting-edge analytics and AI solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key P\&C insurance clients
- Lead strategic initiatives and roadmap development for analytics and AI
- Oversee application of advanced analytics and AI to solve insurance challenges
- Ensure successful delivery of data models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support business development and proposal creation
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Stay current with P\&C insurance, analytics, and AI trends
- Design innovative solutions for underwriting, claims, and pricing
- Deliver performance dashboards and actionable insights
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on insurance
- Expertise in SQL, Power BI, SAS, and Generative AI
- Strong skills in data modeling, visualization, and decision-making
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred: Experience with Python, R, machine learning, and consulting
