We’re currently searching for an experienced business development representative who can collaborate with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to grow our Salt Lake City branch primarily by selling commercial planned maintenance services along with associated projects included equipment replacements, repair projects, etc. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that align with our business capabilities. An emphasis on relationships and generating work in Salt Lake, Davis and Weber Counties is preferred.

Business Development Manager Objectives:
  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy to sell our commercial services and grow our client relationships between Salt Lake City and Ogden 
  • Support, train, and mentor additional business development staff 
  • Maintain and develop positive, professional relationships with new and existing clients  
  • Set personal and team goals, monitor progress, and report activity to company management 
Business Development Manager Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions 
  • Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients  
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders 
  • Provide continuous, constructive feedback to sales team members  
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines 
  • Interact with clients and respond to inquiries about the company’s products or services 
Business Development Manager Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven record of sales growth in roles interfacing with commercial or B2B clients 
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field 
  • Business Development in HVAC or a construction related field is a plus but not required 
  • Works well in a team environment and enjoys group collaboration to help implement and maintain industry best processes and practices 
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques  
  • Exceptional project management skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential 
Business Development Manager Preferred Qualifications:
