Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and energetic Part-Time Floater to support classrooms across the center. This role is essential in maintaining ratios, assisting teachers, and ensuring the center runs smoothly each day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with all age groups (infants through after-schoolers), adapts quickly to schedule changes, and brings a positive, professional attitude to the team.

Responsibilities
Provide classroom support to infant, toddler, preschool, pre-K, and after-school classrooms as needed.
Assist lead teachers with routines such as meals, transitions, diapering/toileting, handwashing, and supervision.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by following all center policies and Georgia Bright from the Start regulations.
Engage with children in age-appropriate activities that support learning and positive behavior.
Step into classrooms on short notice to maintain ratios when teachers are absent or on break.
Support classroom setup, cleanup, organization, and preparation of materials.
Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with coworkers, parents, and leadership.
Adapt to changes in the daily schedule and classroom assignments.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
Must be dependable, professional, and able to follow instructions and center policies.
Must be flexible and comfortable working in multiple classrooms and with all age groups.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.
