Position Overview
As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations during your assigned shifts. You’ll lead by example—coaching team members, managing daily tasks, and maintaining Capriotti’s high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, enjoys leading a team, and is looking to grow their career in hospitality or restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support team members during daily operations
  • Delegate duties and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes collaboration and respect
  • Provide exceptional guest service by ensuring every order meets Capriotti’s quality and presentation standards
  • Follow all company policies and operational procedures, including food safety, sanitation, and cash handling
  • Assist with labor management, inventory control, and cost monitoring
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including kitchen, dining room, and prep areas
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
  • Act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism while promoting Capriotti’s values and culture
 
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant, food service, or retail leadership experience preferred (Shift Lead, Crew Leader, or Assistant Manager experience a plus)
  • Have valid driver's license to drive food truck
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented work ethic
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
