The Fire division is seeking positive, hard-working individuals who are capable of leading teams to restore fire-damaged homes and contents. Applicants must be able to learn quickly and direct others to complete jobs in accordance with company procedures and industry guidelines. At least two years’ experience as a manager or supervisor is required. This role is very independent and requires a strong leader who can pave the way toward success on the job. Job training and industry certifications are provided. In addition, applicants must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Criminal background check is required as well as a valid driver's license free of OWI's and DWI's.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Engage with and educate homeowners
· Thorough understanding of smoke removal procedures. Develop knowledge of cleaning equipment.
· Use various types of equipment to eliminate smoke odor from properties
· Inventory and package the contents of a customer’s home or business
· Determine what materials can be dried and what materials need to be removed
· Pack in and/or pack out the contents of a customer’s home or business
· Respond to emergency service calls during the day as well as during set on-call days
· Lead fire restoration jobs while guiding fire technicians
· Inventory chemicals and materials used on every job
The ideal Lead Fire Technician:
- Is Self-Motivated

- Has the ability to lift 35 lbs. consistently
- Has experience in cleaning roles is preferred but not required
- Experience in a leadership role is required
- Can work independently
- Has leadership abilities

- Has reliable transportation
- Has a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Is technology savvy (iPhone, iPad, Office Suite Applications) is a plus
- Enjoys guiding and mentoring their team
This position will require working indoors and outdoors in various settings; including residential and commercial work sites. Physical effort is needed to endure long hours working outside in extreme conditions, lifting and adjusting heavy objects. A typical workweek is eight (8) hour workdays, 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and on-call work as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Physical activity that requires a full range of body movements including the use of hands, feet, and fingers to handle or feel objects and use equipment.
- Physical activity often requires walking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and lifting for prolonged periods of time.
- Physical activity that requires pushing and/or pulling over 35 lbs.
Compensation
$17-21 per hour based on experience.

Some benefits are jointly paid and some are group terms that are employee paid. All benefits are given per the handbook's explanation. PTO and vacation days are annual.
