Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage line staff to ensure smooth service.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
- Train and mentor junior cooks to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times.
- Collaborate with the head chef on menu development and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Assist in creating a positive and efficient work environment for all staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and maintain composure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Passion for food and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
